to work with and taking that first step.Today is the day, it’s time to follow the recipe for success. My day of reckoning with a lifelong battle with my weight. It’s time to ditch my excuses and follow instructions for my own well-being.

Over the last sixty years, I’ve found myself sick and tired of many things. At one time I was sick and tired of being sick and tired all the time. A friend approached me with a solution. After careful consideration of her message about nutritional supplements, I made a lifestyle change that literally changed my life for good. My health improved dramatically. I was able to increase my energy and extend my lifespan by supplementing my poor diet with vitamins.

It took fifteen years to become sick and tired of battling this weight problem. I’ve blamed everyone else but myself for the 100 pounds I packed on over that time. Either it was “well, hubby does the shopping and cooking, how can I not eat what he puts on the table” to “I don’t have time to fix healthy stuff for lunch”. Any of this sound familiar?

This morning was THE day to weigh in. The recipe for success read “wake up, go pee, get naked, weigh, record”. In that order, my weight loss lifestyle change began. Although I want to be 100% transparent with you, I’m human and choose NOT to share how much I weigh … not yet.

What I’m most excited about is that I’m prepared mentally for this stage of my weight loss journey. I’ve literally ditched my excuses, both emotionally and verbally for accountability. The recipe for success allows me two cups of coffee per day; one regular cup of brewed coffee and one cup of Lean JavaBean weight loss coffee. Update on Lean JavaBean coffee – I no longer use this product as its formula changed and it’s effectiveness diminished 🙁 The rest of my day will be hydrated with one gallon of clean, crisp water!

I hope you’ll follow along as I work toward my goal of losing 10% of my body weight in 30-day increments. As I follow the recipe for success and eliminate certain types of food, I know I’ll need your support. I can tell you though I won’t be going hungry because there are unlimited wholesome foods I will be eating. Nothing special, real foods we already are eating, just not the bad stuff that promotes insulin production.

If you found value in this post, please share. I know too many women out there who feel the same way I do about their weight. If shown the recipe for success maybe they too will be ready to take that first step as I did just eight months ago. It all starts with ditching your excuses, finding someone to work with, and taking that first step.

p.s. if you’d like to follow the game plan that helped me lose 70 pounds and 5 jean sizes, join me in the Clubhouse; be sure to mention you learned about it here.
