How to Have Fun Even if Time Flies

I don’t have a lot of time but I want to have fun. Isn’t that a phrase we’ve all used at some point in our lives and business? Don’t we all have the same 24 hours in a day?

This morning I literally have 3 minutes to share how to have fun even if time flies. It’s so typical of me to leave important tasks until the last minute or rather to try to cram it in when I should hold off until I can do it right without stressing myself out. Have you ever found yourself in that situation?

This video is day 4 of 100 (see below) and I’m headed out the door to spend some time serving my community for a couple of hours in the park with some friends. Have you ever noticed how time flies while we are having fun? Have you ever tried to get everything done all at one time and it all blows up in your face? Is it all women or is it just me?

We have all these things to do, to accomplish, start and finish; and, Rich, my hubby gets so mad at me. Why? Because one project gets started then progresses to a place where it has to stop. For example, a project I am working on is still sitting on the kitchen table due to needing some input from my coach. So, this project is on hold until I hear back from her.

Moving on to my day job, I’m stuck and can’t move forward until I hear back from my truck driver. Grandson Lucas gets ahold of my camera, my phone and starts taking pictures of me. Thank goodness I was dressed. Thankfully Rich made breakfast because I was in the middle of all these other tasks and projects.

Wrap all these projects up in a package, in the same time frame and you have a disaster waiting to happen. It reminds me of those circus performers spinning plates on a stick, you know? I’m running back and forth between all of these projects, spinning those plates trying to get it all done (big sigh) but the plates are crashing. Now I’m out of time and I have to go.  Someone is waiting for me. I’m due in literally 13 minutes.

So here’s the deal. We all can learn how to have fun even if time flies. We can lighten up, schedule our time a little wiser, try to space out the projects and have more fun while getting more done. I would love to hear how you are having fun while time is flying, too. Share in the comments below.

Now it’s time for you to look good, feel good and do good for others; but, most of all go have some fun. Let time fly while enjoying every minute that you are flying with it.
